PAISLEY LACE SHIRT

Our take on a modernized Barong. A traditional Filipino clothing staple. This version is meant to wear in any occasion. This piece still stands as Nostalgia’s number one seller. It landed the brand features on Vogue Philippines, Complex, and more. The success of this product has led to a rebrand of Nostalgia. The brand mostly consisted of graphic streetwear, but has shifted to fully cut & sewn timeless wear.

This was our first time bringing film into our marketing campaigns, and it opened up a whole new way to tell stories. We shot this one at a local Barong store in Vallejo, CA—each film we create is rooted in storytelling and culture.

After the first release did very well, we decided to restock. This time we shot the film in the motherland, the Philippines. We linked up with the highly renowned tattoo artist, Apo Whang-od, to share her mark on Filipino culture.
